Crew List

Crew List

Have you just finished your navigation course and want to try out your skills, or perhaps you fancy the delights of cruiser racing. Perhaps you have had enough of being dunked in the water and needing a wet suit, be warned cruiser racing isn’t always warm and dry!

Skippers are frequently looking for crews.

If you wish to crew please send an email to the secretary with information you wish put on this page. Information will be cut and pasted from the body of the email and displayed until the end of the season or until requested to remove it.

Skippers, if you are looking for crew contact the secretary with details of what you require displayed on this page.

PYRA do not warrant the competence of skippers or seaworthiness of their yachts.

Crews should satisfy themselves of the competence of skippers and seaworthiness of their yachts

Crew Available/Wanted

I am available for crewing some weekends & mid week as I work shifts.

I am available for the May regatta 25-27th as my regular boat Cara is not entering.

I usually work pit but am happy to learn foredeck.

I have day skipper theory & practical.

I usually race in Class one on a Monday evening out of Parkstone & class one in PYRA.

I have just been certified as Day Skipper and am looking for experience locally.

I live in Bournemouth, have experience of dinghy sailing, but little of yachts (apart from sailing around Great Britain last year and Day Skipper recently )

I am now a retired doctor aged 70 and am not confident at foredeck action in rough seas, but keen for on water experience in yachts

I competed at national level triathlons until 6 years ago.
